Love this place! Super delicious coffee and food, very cozy, well equipped shop (you can buy the furnishings there) and super personable staff! ?

Nice relaxed ambience. The furnishings such as chairs, lamps, dishes, vases, etc. can be bought, but they don't look like those in a furniture store. You sit very comfortably and have a good chat. Friendly staff and delicious food (soup, salads, great focaccia and delicious cakes). I like cappuccino very much. With us, everything was served at the same time on two visits, so I cannot understand the previous negative rating in this regard. I would love to come back.

Great ambience, menu not enormous but something for everyone. Above all, it was delicious and the service was very nice.

Highly recommended! This modern and beautifully furnished café is just a few minutes' walk from the main train station. The comfortable seating invites you to linger and the menu has a good selection of food and drinks, which are served on / in beautiful dishes, which, like the furniture, can be purchased I will gladly come again!

Cool concept but disastrous service. We waited over an hour for our food. The employees were obviously overwhelmed by the situation. But maybe it's also a tactic to keep people in the shop for as long as possible so that you can familiarize yourself with the products. But you should also note that the service makes you lose the joy of shopping.

"das KARL" is highly recommended! We were there for breakfast and we liked it very much. The decor is very nice and modern - you can even buy furniture, decorations, etc. online. The café is also very kid-friendly! (currently only card payment is possible)

Nice cozy Cafe!

Amazing place, super modern, sophisticated and cozy. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and low carb options and fresh squeezed juices. They also have nice drinks and is a cool place to go after work (can highly recommend a lillet). The vegan sandwich was amazing. The staff is also extremely friendly.

Wonderful new place for breakfast, brunch or lunch in great atmosphere. The food is really good, the staff is kind and you can purchase most of the decorations, furniture or china as part of a new coffe store concept. Overall really great experience, I definitely recommend to go!

As a group of 6 people we have agreed to have brunch. Unfortunately, everything took far too long so that we couldn't eat together - despite the average activity. Pictures on the card are also pretty well photographed! In the end, I had the feeling that more effort was put into setting up the place than with the food. It's a shame - no recommendation.

The menu looks very promising and the drinks were delicious too. The waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed, although it wasn't really busy and unfortunately couldn't advise and didn't know the menu either. Unfortunately, it took a long time to eat and we couldn't eat together because it was very offset. There wasn't much at all and the portions were also quite manageable. If you want to have a good coffee near the main station, a clear recommendation, but I cannot recommend the food.

Very nicely decorated restaurant, very good coffee. Menu is small but good. Unfortunately, reservations are not possible. No cash only card payment ?? The restaurant is still very young and has great potential to improve processes;) We have waited> 1 hour for our food, but it will certainly get better soon. Attention: Do not confuse "Das Karl" with "Karls" in Pempelfort. ?

Nice staff and atmosphere. Coffee and banana bread very tasty, but banana bread was our 3rd choice. There is a room to improve in your availability of breakfast dishes. You are advertising "All day breakfast", but at 12:00 pancakes and half of the sandwiches were not avaliable anymore. I hope it's just because you are new and still figuring out your foot rate. ;)

Delicious coffee and super nice toasts. Wonderful interior. You come and pay directly so everything is fast so great place for short stop over during your traveling.

The Karl has only been open a week, but I've been there twice. It is a real bright spot in the otherwise not so beautiful Karlstrasse. The menu is rather small but nice - just like in a café / bistro. The highlight is the ambience and the fact that I could at least theoretically buy anything I see. It's great fun. The only thing that bothers me is that the cappuccino is served in the wide tea cups. But well, yeah, it's not that important. ?

Wow, today I discovered my new favorite breakfast-brunch-after-work-drink-café-bar ... We immediately fell in love with the mix of delicious food and a detailed interior concept! ?

The breakfast and the smoothies are really delicious !! I love the foccacia sandwiches and the changing bowles. Very central and a few minutes' walk from the hbf. Definitely recommended

Super store! Had half a pastrami focaccia today it was delicious! Very nice staff! Bye for now
